Music is an important creative outlet for me. I started playing drums at the age of 3 on chairs and tables.
My first live concert was at the age of 12 with my band Why Not.
As drummer I played in several (semi-)professional rockbands and was about a year interim drummer for rock coverband Crystal Dream.
I have experience playing in recording studio's and many many live concerts, ranging from intimate clubs to big music events & venues.
At present I play the hell out of my drumkit in my band Stingray.
As Recording Engineer I have been involved in interesting Productions and recorded demo's and CD's for various bands.
I have experience in outboard analog mixing, hybrid mixing and full "in the box" software mixing. I use analog and digital multitrack recorders or whatever is available.
From an early age I was fascinated by Technology, Engineering and Science. By trial and "lots of errors" I developed my first skills.
Years later I understood that only a propper University degree in Science would provide me the right tools and fundamental knowledge I was searching for.
My spare time is filled with many Hobbies and ongoing projects. I like renovating our characteristic farmhouse built in 1799, long distance running and restoring a Polish Fiat126p car.
If there is still some Spare Time left I restore modern, classic and vintage pro-audio and studio equipment. I provide custom modifications and upgrades to give them a second life.
